BRCN users can change your password for dial-up and email accounts by going to https://www.missouri.org/user/index.cgi. Do you have other email addresses that you check more often? You can also have your BRCN email forwarded to those accounts. It's all available at https://www.missouri.org/user/index.cgi

BRCN Takes Minneapolis by Storm!

Several members of the BRCN team traveled to Minneapolis last week, where we were invited to do a presentation on the continued success of the computer labs at both the Irondale City Hall and the West County Middle School. The conference was part of the CYFAR project (Children, Youth and Families at Risk), a program administered through the USDA that provides technical skills to citizens in under-served communities, such as Irondale. This program, along with our member contributions, is what makes the computer labs in Irondale and Leadwood possible.

The BRCN project is unique because of our high success rates in improved technical skills among those that attend the lab. Special testing instruments were designed to chart the growth of technical skills among those attending the labs. The results showed astounding improvement among both adults and children, thanks in large part to our volunteers.

If you would like more information on the Irondale Community Computer Lab project, or to see the results, go to http://outreach.missouri.edu/fcrp/irondale/. Also, Be sure to stop by the lab and see what we have to offer first-hand!
